Step 1: Write Your Blog First

Before creating any Pinterest image, it’s essential to have your blog ready. Why? Because the blog content will guide the style, message, and keywords that influence your image. For example, if you’re writing about “10 Easy DIY Home Decor Ideas,” you’ll want your Pinterest image to reflect a DIY aesthetic.
Think about visuals like neutral tones, clean lines, and cozy home settings. Your image should speak to the blog’s message. Always consider what people searching for these topics expect to see. In this case, they’re probably looking for easy, affordable, and stylish ideas, so your visuals should represent that.
I like SEOWriting.AI for blog writing.
Step 2: Use Harpa.ai to Generate Image Prompts with ChatGPT
Now that your blog is ready, it’s time to generate an image prompt for your Pinterest visual. This is where I use Harpa.ai. First, install the Harpa.ai Chrome extension and make sure it’s set to “Page Aware” mode. This lets ChatGPT read the blog content directly from your webpage.
Once your blog is loaded, create a prompt that tells Harpa what you need. For example, you can save a prompt like this: “Based on this blog, generate a prompt for a Pinterest image. The image should be in a 9:16 format, use soft and feminine colors, and reflect a cozy DIY home vibe.”
You can save this prompt within Harpa for future use, so each time you write a new blog, you simply reuse it.
Step 3: Use Ideogram.ai to Create Pinterest and Blog Images

After generating your image prompt from Harpa, head over to Ideogram.ai. Take the prompt Harpa created for you and input it into Ideogram.ai. This tool will allow you to create Pinterest-friendly images (9:16) and blog post images (16:9) that fit perfectly with your content.
For example, if your blog is about home decor, your Ideogram.ai prompt might result in a visual with soft lighting, rustic elements, and minimalist furniture. Once the images are ready, download them and place them in your blog and Pinterest pin.
Step 4: Generate Pinterest Titles and Descriptions with Harpa.ai
Your work isn’t done just yet. Pinterest success also relies on having the right titles and descriptions. With Harpa.ai, you can easily generate Pinterest titles and descriptions optimized for search.
Just use a simple command like, “Generate a Pinterest title and description based on this blog,” and let Harpa create keyword-rich content for you. This ensures that your pin has both great visuals and the right text to get discovered by more users.
By combining ChatGPT via Harpa.ai and Ideogram.ai, you can quickly and easily create stunning Pinterest images and optimize your pins for better visibility. Save your prompts in Harpa for future use, and let the AI handle everything from visuals to titles and descriptions. This method will not only save you time but also help you scale your Pinterest content strategy effectively.
