The Best Tool for Finding Pinterest Keywords

If you’re guessing Pinterest keywords, you’re building on sand.

Pinterest is a search engine.

Which means keyword accuracy determines traffic.

The best tool I’ve found for finding Pinterest keywords isn’t a hack.

It’s a validation engine.

I use PinClicks.

Here’s why.

Pinterest’s own search bar gives suggestions.

But it doesn’t tell you volume.

It doesn’t tell you competition.

It doesn’t tell you which phrases are worth building an entire content cluster around.

PinClicks does.

I start with a root keyword.

“Small apartment storage.”
“Printable planner templates.”
“Pinterest marketing tips.”

Then I look at three things.

Search volume.

If no one is searching it, I don’t build around it.

Related phrases.

This is where clusters are born.

Instead of one pin, you now have:

Small apartment kitchen storage
Under bed storage for small spaces
Closet storage for studio apartments

Competition.

High volume plus low-to-moderate competition is the sweet spot.

That’s opportunity.

From there, I build one authority asset.

Usually a blog post.

Then I create multiple pins per keyword variation.

Different angles.

Same search intent.

When you build this way, Pinterest traffic compounds.

You’re not hoping for visibility.

You’re aligning with it.

Could you use the search bar alone?

Yes.

But you’d be blind to scale.

PinClicks removes guesswork.

It shows where demand already exists.

That’s leverage.

The best Pinterest keyword tool is the one that lets you build clusters confidently instead of posting randomly.

For me, that’s PinClicks.
