Ever wonder how to create affiliate blogs that make money without spending endless hours on content creation? I’ve been there, searching for ways to streamline my process while still producing high-quality blogs that drive affiliate income.
That’s when I turned to ChatGPT. In this guide, I’ll walk you through the exact steps for using ChatGPT to automate affiliate blogging, from creating list posts to generating eye-catching images and scheduling pins.
By the end, you’ll know exactly how to start building your own affiliate blog empire using AI—and, of course, you can download my free affiliate marketing guide, join my Blueprint Coaching Group, or dive into one of my courses if you want to go deeper.
Step 1: Plan Your Content with ChatGPT
The foundation of any strong affiliate blog is planning. I focus on high-interest list posts that perform well on search engines and social media, often using titles like “Top 10 Gadgets for Busy Parents” or “5 Must-Have Tools for Home Office Productivity.”
How I Make This Work with ChatGPT:
- Ask ChatGPT for Content Ideas: I prompt ChatGPT to give me a list of topic ideas based on keywords relevant to my niche, generating ideas like “10 Best Fitness Products for Small Spaces” or “Top Budget-Friendly Makeup Must-Haves.”
- Outline the List Post: Once I’ve chosen a topic, I ask ChatGPT to break down a list-style structure, which makes it easy to showcase multiple products with affiliate links.
Tip: If you prefer not to write the blog yourself, check out SEO Writing AI for a fully automated writing solution.
Step 2: Add Affiliate Links Using ChatGPT’s Memory
ChatGPT can remember my affiliate links for different products, saving me time when writing each post. I trained ChatGPT to recognize these links and add them automatically into the content where relevant.
How It Works:
- Store Your Links: When setting up ChatGPT, I input my affiliate links, so it knows where to place them naturally in each post.
- Embed Links in Content: As ChatGPT drafts, it seamlessly includes affiliate links without disrupting the flow.
For managing all these links, I recommend using Stan Store to organize digital products and courses, or Lasso Plugin for WordPress—it’s a lifesaver for affiliate marketers.
Step 3: Generate AI Image Prompts for Blog and Pinterest
Images are essential for capturing attention. Here’s how I generate AI image prompts directly from ChatGPT, then turn those prompts into engaging blog feature images and Pinterest pins.
- Ask ChatGPT for an Image Prompt: I use ChatGPT to brainstorm ideas for AI-generated images that match my blog post topic.
- Create Images with Ideogram: I take the prompt from ChatGPT and paste it into Ideogram to get high-quality, visually appealing images for my blog and Pinterest.
Pro Tip: Use Pinclicks to find keywords and trends for Pinterest images that drive clicks and conversions.
Step 4: Schedule Pinterest Pins with Tailwind
Pinterest is a powerful traffic driver for affiliate blogs, but consistency is key. Here’s where Tailwind comes in, allowing you to schedule pins for optimal reach.
- Upload Your AI-Generated Image: After creating an image with Ideogram, I upload it to Tailwind and schedule it as a pin.
- Add Optimized Descriptions: I use keyword-rich descriptions to make my pins searchable, with Pinclicks offering the best keywords to include.

Step 5: Building Your Email List with MailerLite
Building an email list can amplify affiliate earnings. By capturing blog visitors, you can continue marketing to them even if they don’t convert on the first visit.
- Set Up a MailerLite Account: MailerLite is my recommended tool for managing email campaigns. It’s user-friendly and integrates seamlessly with affiliate blogs.
- Create a Lead Magnet: Offer readers something valuable, like a free guide (mine is available here) or exclusive tips, to encourage sign-ups.
Wrapping Up
Using ChatGPT to automate your affiliate blogging workflow—from content creation to image generation and Pinterest scheduling—will save you hours and boost your productivity. Once you’ve got the hang of it, you’ll be able to scale your efforts, drive more traffic, and increase your earnings faster than you thought possible.

Hi Lori,
I was reading through this post, which i assume is also an affiliate post, but when I click on the links, they don’t seem to work…
I tried incognito mode, I tried another browser, I turned off my add blocker but stil… NADA…
So thought you might like to know…
The other links in the side bar, and ‘take a course’ or ‘subscribe’ do work.
So am wondering if AI didn’t take the links along, when you copy/pasted it in WordPress?
Just thought I’d give you a heads up 🙂
Great work, love your content, very usefull!
Ann.
