How I Use ChatGPT to Create Affiliate Blogs

How I Use ChatGPT to Create Affiliate Blogs

This website contains affiliate links. Some products are gifted by the brand. As an Amazon Associate, I earn from qualifying purchases. The content on this website was created with the help of AI.

While I share money-making strategies, nothing is "typical", and outcomes are based on each individual. There are no guarantees.

Ever wonder how I create affiliate blogs that generate income without spending endless hours on content creation? I’ve been in your shoes, looking for ways to streamline my process while still producing high-quality blogs that drive affiliate revenue. That’s when I turned to ChatGPT, and let me tell you—it’s been a game-changer. In this guide, I’ll walk you through the exact steps I use to automate my affiliate blogging process—from creating list posts to generating eye-catching images and scheduling pins.

Step 1: Planning My Content with ChatGPT

A focused young woman in a business suit working on a laptop in a modern office with large windows and plants in the background.

The foundation of any strong affiliate blog is planning. I focus on high-interest list posts that perform well on search engines and social media. For example, I use titles like “Top 10 Gadgets for Busy Parents” or “5 Must-Have Tools for Home Office Productivity.”

How to Find Affiliate Opportunities You’re Already Missing in Your Content

With ChatGPT, I generate affiliate content ideas quickly. I prompt ChatGPT with relevant keywords, and it provides me with a list of blog topic ideas. Once I pick a topic, ChatGPT helps me structure the blog post into a list format that naturally incorporates affiliate links. It’s a huge time-saver because it allows me to focus on the content’s value while ChatGPT handles the ideation and structuring.

How I Make This Work:

  • I ask ChatGPT for content ideas based on keywords like “best fitness products for small spaces” or “budget-friendly makeup must-haves.”
  • Once I choose a topic, I ask ChatGPT to create a structured list-style post, making it easy to feature multiple affiliate products with their links.

Step 2: Add Affiliate Links Using ChatGPT’s Memory

A computer monitor displaying a dashboard with various affiliate links and tools, including options like 'ChatGPT', 'Easylink', and 'Affiliate Programs'. The setup includes a keyboard and a potted plant in the foreground.

I’ve customized ChatGPT’s memory to store and recognize affiliate links for the products I promote. I input all my affiliate links at the setup stage, and ChatGPT automatically places them in relevant sections of the content as it drafts. It ensures the links are naturally integrated, saving me time and avoiding manual link placements.

ChatGPT also allows me to manage multiple affiliate programs at once. As I add new links or update old ones, ChatGPT recognizes the changes and integrates them into new posts automatically.

How It Works:

  • When setting up ChatGPT, I input my affiliate links, so it knows where to place them in each post.
  • As ChatGPT generates the content, it seamlessly adds these links without interrupting the flow.

I also use Stan Store and Lasso Plugin to keep all my digital products and affiliate links organized. They make managing multiple links a breeze.

How It Works:

  • Store Your Links: When setting up ChatGPT, I input my affiliate links, so it knows where to place them naturally in each post.
  • Embed Links in Content: As ChatGPT drafts, it seamlessly includes affiliate links without disrupting the flow.

For managing all these links, I recommend using Stan Store to organize digital products and courses, or Lasso Plugin for WordPress—it’s a lifesaver for affiliate marketers.

Step 3: Generate AI Image Prompts for Blog and Pinterest

A modern workspace featuring a laptop displaying the Ideogram platform, surrounded by notebooks, a plant, and stationery on a wooden desk.

Images are key for attracting attention. I rely on ChatGPT to generate creative prompts for AI-generated images that complement my blog posts. Once I have a prompt, I input it into Ideogram to create high-quality, relevant images for both my blog and Pinterest pins.

These AI-generated images help me visually engage my readers and drive more traffic to my posts. It’s a great way to make my blog posts stand out without having to create images from scratch.

How I Do It:

  • I ask ChatGPT to come up with image prompts based on my blog topic.
  • I then input these prompts into Ideogram, which creates beautiful, relevant images for my blog and Pinterest.

Pro Tip: I also use Pinclicks to find trending keywords and image ideas that help my Pinterest pins get more clicks.

Step 4: Schedule Pinterest Pins with Tailwind

An office setting with a woman analyzing marketing metrics on a large screen, featuring graphs and images related to Pinterest. The desk has a laptop and potted plants.

Pinterest is a major traffic driver for affiliate blogs, and consistency is key. I use Tailwind to schedule my pins in advance, so I don’t have to worry about manually posting them throughout the week. Tailwind helps me schedule my AI-generated images with keyword-rich descriptions to ensure my pins are optimized for search.

How I Use Tailwind:

  • I upload the images created by Ideogram to Tailwind and schedule them for optimal reach.
  • I add keyword-rich descriptions to make my pins easy to find, using Pinclicks to choose the best keywords.

Step 5: Building Your Email List with MailerLite

Building an email list can amplify affiliate earnings. By capturing blog visitors, you can continue marketing to them even if they don’t convert on the first visit.

  • Set Up a MailerLite Account: MailerLite is my recommended tool for managing email campaigns. It’s user-friendly and integrates seamlessly with affiliate blogs.
  • Create a Lead Magnet: Offer readers something valuable, like a free guide (mine is available here) or exclusive tips, to encourage sign-ups.

Wrapping Up

Using ChatGPT to automate your affiliate blogging workflow—from content creation to image generation and Pinterest scheduling—will save you hours and boost your productivity. Once you’ve got the hang of it, you’ll be able to scale your efforts, drive more traffic, and increase your earnings faster than you thought possible.

    Hi Lori,
I was reading through this post, which i assume is also an affiliate post, but when I click on the links, they don’t seem to work…
I tried incognito mode, I tried another browser, I turned off my add blocker but stil… NADA…
So thought you might like to know…
The other links in the side bar, and ‘take a course’ or ‘subscribe’ do work.
So am wondering if AI didn’t take the links along, when you copy/pasted it in WordPress?
Just thought I’d give you a heads up 🙂
Great work, love your content, very usefull!
    Ann.
