Pinterest is one strategy in my content creator business, but it’s not the only one. In my coaching group, I always tell the members to focus on one platform, and build to others later. What I love about Pinterest, is that I can sit quietly with my coffee, and be completely invisible while I work. No cameras, no appointments, no dancing for “likes”.
I keep Pinterest simple. I don’t spend all day there. So, I created a 1-hour-per-day workflow to keep things simple, and effective. And I’m sharing it all with you. Enjoy!
The 1-hour-a-day Pinterest workflow
I’m a Gen X creator, and I don’t hustle ten hours a day on Pinterest. One focused hour — batched, scheduled, and automated — turns into traffic and affiliate income that keeps running while I’m off the clock.
The two guides behind this workflow
Everything below is free to read. These two just save you the trial and error.
Pinterest on Purpose
The no-fluff system for Pinterest traffic and passive income — keyword to published pin, start to finish, in your own account.
Pinterest Power Stack
How to get a whole run of pin variations out of a single URL — without repeating yourself or running out of ideas.
If you only take four things from this
One focused hour a day
Coffee, analytics, direction. You don’t need to live on the platform.
Batch, never one at a time
Ten to twenty versions of one idea. Same URL, different hooks.
Schedule, then walk away
Fresh pins drip out on their own — even the week you take off.
Monetize on the blog
Pins send traffic to posts. Ad revenue plus affiliate income from one link.
How one hour builds days of momentum
No hustle, no chaos. Here’s the actual hour, start to finish.
Start with data, not guesses
Coffee and analytics. I look at what already worked — which pin took off, which article spiked — and double down on it.
Find the trend
Pinclicks shows me what’s being saved for a keyword, so my content points at real demand.
Outline the blog
I take that data into ChatGPT and outline a post around what people are actually searching for.
Design the pins
Ideogram turns the concept into vertical, on-trend Pinterest images — a full set at once.
Batch and schedule
Load a big batch into Tailwind, set the schedule, and step away. The account keeps publishing without me.
Monetize on the blog
Pins send people to a post — ad revenue plus affiliate income — with clean Lasso link boxes that lift clicks.
The tools I use
Some of the links below are affiliate links — if you sign up or buy through them I may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. I only ever share tools I actually use.
Pinclicks
Pinterest keyword research — what’s actually being saved, so my content points at demand.
Tailwind
Schedule a whole batch of pins in one sitting — the account keeps publishing without me.
Lasso
Clean, professional affiliate link boxes and tables that build trust and lift clicks.
