Make Stickers That Sell
Cricut made it ridiculously easy to design and cut your own stickers. Here’s the full process, from uploading your designs to mastering kiss cut vs. die cut, printing perfectly aligned stickers, and packaging them for sale.

Gear up
A Cricut cutting machine, a printer, and the right sticker paper. Sharp blades and a clean mat separate cute craft from sellable product.
Design and prep
Upload your art in Design Space and switch the operation to Print Then Cut so it prints first, then cuts precisely around your artwork.
Kiss cut vs. die cut
Kiss cut for peel-off sheets, die cut for individual stickers with a clean edge. Pick the one that fits how you’re selling.
Package and sell
Cellophane bags with a backing card, rigid mailers for sheets, and a price that accounts for materials, time, and demand.
How I make stickers that actually sell
Once your designs, materials, and process are dialed in, the rest comes down to consistency.
Get your setup right
You need a Cricut cutting machine (like the Maker or Explore), a printer, and printable sticker paper. Add a LightGrip mat to keep your paper flat during cutting without tearing. Keep your blades sharp, your mat clean, and your printer calibrated.
Upload and prep your design in Design Space
Upload your own artwork or use Cricut’s built-in image library. Once your images are on the canvas, change the Operation setting from Basic Cut to Print Then Cut, then resize your stickers and group similar designs to test both kiss cut and die cut versions.
Cut kiss-cut sheets that peel perfectly
Select Create a Sticker, then choose Kiss Cut to cut only the top layer, leaving the backing intact. Attach everything together before cutting, and lower the pressure slightly if your stickers don’t lift smoothly. Bend the backing to release the sticker instead of tugging it.
Cut die-cut singles that look professionally packaged
Choose Die Cut to cut through both the sticker and its backing for standalone pieces. Customize the border thickness and color to match your brand, then flip the mat and peel it away from the stickers to prevent curling.
Calibrate, print, and cut for perfect alignment
Under Settings, Machines, Calibration, print the calibration sheet and follow the prompts. Print your design, then align the sheet with the top-left corner on your mat exactly as shown so Cricut can read the registration marks and cut precisely.
Package, price, and sell, then scale
Slip die cuts into a cellophane bag with a backing card, or use rigid mailers for sheets. Price based on materials, time, and demand. As you grow, use EverBee to see what’s selling on Etsy, design faster in Kittl, and hand off fulfillment to Printify.
