People are always confused by what I do. While I have a real estate team, it’s an affiliate model. While I’m in business with a marketing company, it’s an affiliate model. And my main business is blogging monetized by an affiliate model.
Essentially, I drive business to brands and products that I don’t personally build or service. I do this through content that ranks on Google, or generates interest from social platforms. I earn recurring commissions or revenue share on conversions.
My favorite space to play in is software and digital marketing, but options are limitless.
I used to build my own brands, my own business, my own services etc., and drove myself crazy in the day-to-day process of hiring, training, re-hiring, handling brick & motor businesses, legalities, systems and processes, and so on. I spent more time on planes going to classes to try to learn how to be a better leader than I did working on the business I really wanted to build.
My true love was always marketing, not so much in showing up to the office every day to live in human resources. So after my divorce 6-years ago, I changed it all up.
I got rid of the physical locations, re-structured how I made money, and switched from an entrepreneur to a solopreneur.
it’s a cool gig. I get to work when I want, how I want, where I want, and with who I want. I have no clients, customers, or employees. Nobody needs me.. ever.
I can work on a plane, on a boat, or by the beach. I answer to myself and am responsible for no one.
It took me a lifetime to discover what I really wanted out of life. And once I found it, I grabbed on and dove in 100%.
Today’s world is made for the creators. Pick your craft, choose a platform, master both, and show up. Do the work you were meant to do, and everything aligns.
Ignore the naysayers, the negative Nellies, and the “you-shoulds”.
Be you. Do you. Nobody does it better.
My goal with this website is to provide you with the best resources, tips, and tricks that I have learned over the years so that you can shortcut your path to success.

You can make money with affiliate marketing by being the “middleman” between customers and companies. You get paid a flat fee or commission to send converting traffic to another brand’s website. Most marketers that make money with affiliate marketing do so through blogs, paid ads, youtube, and social media.
There are many different ways to make money with affiliate marketing. You can choose to promote products or services you are passionate about or promote products you believe in. If you love what you are promoting, it will be easier to convince your audience to purchase the product or service.
I discovered affiliate marketing by accident. I often call myself “the accidental affiliate” because I never set out to profit from promoting other brands’ products and services online. It just sort of happened.
In the early days of my internet marketing career, I was focused on SEO and building websites that ranked in search. I did quite well with this approach and was able to generate a good income from it.
I began teaching others what I was doing and soon realized there was a lot of interest in building websites. Real Estate agents were my main audience, so I began teaching real estate agents how to build their own websites.
One day, a colleague suggested that I sign up for the affiliate program of the software that I was teaching. My first reaction was to shrivel up my nose, thinking, “I don’t want to be an affiliate.” I felt like it crossed a moral line for me.
But later, when the conversation came up again, I thought about it some more and realized that if people were going to buy the software anyway, why not get paid for it? So I signed up for the affiliate program and started promoting the software.
I decided to try it and see what it was all about. Long story short, I loved it! And I made quite a bit of money from promoting that software program. I still do. But I was surprised to discover that after signing up for the software affiliate programs I was teaching and promoting for a few years, I had an additional 6-figure income.
Since then, I’ve been involved with affiliate marketing in one way or another. I’ve promoted everything from software to services, and I currently have affiliate relationships with real estate, internet marketing, and SEO companies (to name a few).
I am proof that you don’t need to be unethical or use spammy tactics to succeed with affiliate marketing. I believe that affiliate marketing is one of the most honest and transparent ways to make money online if it’s handled that way.
I always disclose my affiliate relationships and share my open and honest opinions. For example, in this video, I compare Ubersuggest and SEMrush. While I only have an affiliate relationship today with SEMRush, I shared why Ubersuggest is better for beginner bloggers.
The latest software that I’m enjoying using, teaching, and promoting is Jasper, an AI writing assistant. While I don’t let AI write my blogs for me, I use it to create ebooksw and handouts as well as assisted comprehensive content.

Most of the content I create is designed to rank on Google. I apply SEO best practices and create pages with the user in mind. While ranking on Google isn’t easy, it is a gift that keeps giving. Once you get there, traffic continues to come as long as you maintain your ranking position.
As a veteran marketer, I have been able to help countless businesses, large and small, to increase their traffic and visibility online. I have also helped many individuals to build successful affiliate marketing businesses from scratch and monetize Youtube channels and blogs. My focus is always on providing value and helping people to achieve their goals.
If you can learn how to research topics that are appropriate for your domain, create comprehensive content, build topical authority, and get your pages to rank on Google, you will be well on your way to success online.
One example is a list-style blog post I created listing the top teleprompter apps for mac users. This blog was ideal for my website because I have topical authority in the software niche. While it’s not a large amount, I made a couple of hundred dollars per month on one affiliate link from that page.
My blog, Youtube channel, and courses teach you how to do this. Most people don’t need thousands of pages to rank on Google to make money. You can do it with a handful if you do it right.
