How to Hire a Content Creation Planner

As a business owner, you know that content is important. But you may not have the time or resources to generate all the content you need on your own. That’s where hiring a content creator comes in. A good content creation planner can help you develop a content creation plan that meets your business goals and gets results. Here’s how to hire someone to create a content creation plan for your business.

What does a Content Creation Planner Do?

The role of a content planner is to develop a strategy for creating and distributing content that meets the needs of your target audience. They will research your industry, understand your business goals, and determine the best ways to reach your target customers.

A full-time content planner will also create editorial calendars and workflows, assign tasks to team members, and track progress to ensure that your content plan is on track.

When Should You Hire a Content Planner?

If you’re not sure where to start with content marketing, or if you’ve tried to create a content strategy on your own but haven’t seen results, it may be time to hire a content planner. A good content planner can help you save time and money by developing a content strategy that works.

You may also want to hire a content planner if you’re looking to improve your content marketing results. A well-executed content plan can help you attract new customers, build brand awareness, and drive sales.

Before hiring a content creation planner, define your goals.

Define Your Content Marketing Goals

Creating content is a great way to achieve a variety of marketing goals, but before you start the content creation process, it’s important to take some time to define your goals. What do you hope to achieve with your content? Do you want to increase brand awareness, drive traffic to your website, or generate leads? Once you know what you want to accomplish, you can start looking for a content creator who has the skills and experience necessary to help you meet your goals.

Setting goals is an important part of any content marketing strategy because it gives you a way to measure your success. Without defined goals, it’s difficult to know if your content is having the desired effect. Is your brand awareness increasing? Are more people visiting your website? Are you generating more leads? By setting specific goals, you can track your progress and adjust your content accordingly.

How to Set Goals

There are a few different ways to set content marketing goals. The most important thing is to make sure that your goals are specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and time-bound (SMART). Let’s break down each of these criteria:

Specific: Vague goals like “increase brand awareness” or “drive traffic to my website” are too general. You need to be specific about what you want to achieve. For example, “generate 100 new leads within the next month.”

Measurable: Once again, it’s important to be able to measure your success. In the example above, the goal is specifically stated as generating 100 new leads. This number can be easily tracked so that you know whether or not you’ve met your goal.

Achievable: Make sure that your goal is something that can actually be accomplished. Avoid setting unrealistic goals that will set you up for disappointment.

Relevant: Your goal should be relevant to your business’s overall mission and vision. Don’t create content for the sake of creating content; make sure that there’s a purpose behind everything you do.

Time-bound: Lastly, all goals should have a timeline associated with them so that you can stay on track and hit deadlines.  In the example above, the goal is to generate 100 new leads within the next month. This gives you a specific timeframe to work within and helps to keep you accountable.

Now that you know how to set SMART content marketing goals, it’s time to start looking for a content creator who can help you achieve them.

How Much Does a Content Plan Cost?

A content plan is an important part of any business’s marketing strategy. But how much should you spend on one? The answer, like with most things in business, is that it depends. In this blog post, we’ll discuss some factors that you should consider when budgeting for a content plan. By the end, you should have a better idea of how to approach this important decision.

How Much Does a Content Plan Cost?

There are a lot of factors that go into determining the cost of a content plan. The first is the scope of the project. How many pieces of content will be included in the plan? How often will they be released? Who will be responsible for creating and distributing the content? Answering these questions will give you a better sense of the overall size and scale of the project—and, as a result, the price tag.

Another important factor to consider is the level of experience and expertise you’re looking for in a content planner. If you’re comfortable having someone with less experience handle your content planning, then you’ll probably be able to find someone who charges less per hour.

On the other hand, if you’re looking for someone who can really help take your content strategy to the next level, then you should expect to pay more. In general, though, most businesses should be able to find a content planner within their budget who can meet their needs.

Finally, consider what other services you might need from your content planner. For example, will they also be responsible for creating or managing your website? If so, that’s likely to add to the total cost. Similarly, if you need help with social media or other forms of marketing, those services will also add to the price tag.

In short, there’s no one-size-fits-all answer to this question. The cost of a content plan varies depending on the business’s needs and budget. However, by taking into account the factors discussed above, you should be able to get a general sense of how much you’ll need to spend to get the content planning help you need.

Content Planners: Where to Find Them and How They Can Help You

If you’re running a blog or website, you know that content is king. But coming up with new, fresh ideas can be tough—especially if you’re doing it all yourself. That’s where a content planner comes in.

A content planner is somebody who helps you generate ideas and plan out your content strategy so that you can keep your site updated regularly with new, engaging material. In this section, we’ll tell you where to find the best content planners and how they can help take your site to the next level.

There are a few different places you can look for content planners. One option is to post a job listing on a freelancer site like Upwork or Fiverr. When you do this, be sure to include as many details about what you’re looking for as possible so that interested parties can decide whether they’re a good fit for the job.

Another option is to reach out to agencies that specialize in content marketing. Many of these agencies will have in-house content planners who would be happy to work with you on a project basis. This can be a great option if you have the budget for it and you’re looking for somebody with a lot of experience.

If you’re looking for a more affordable, yet still SEO-friendly and quality alternative, Compose.ly might be a content writing service for you.

I use SurferSEO and SEMrush to plan my content. Using a seed keyword, I can see related keywords that I should target in my article.

I also take a look at the SERP features for my seed keyword to get an idea of what Google is trying to show for that query, and therefore, what I need to include in my article to rank.

After that, it’s time to start writing! My AI writing tool, Jasper integrates with SurferSEO. As Jasper and I write content in Jasper’s AI editor, the AI SEO tool in Surfer scores my content based on word count, use of NLP keywords, number of headings, and more to give me a real-time SEO score for my article.

This is how I create content that is both loved by my readers and loved by Google. If you want to try it out for yourself, you can get started with SurferSEO here.

My brothers at Ballen Brands (702) 917-0755 are also available to help you plan your content. They typically bring me in to do the keyword and topic research, lay out a 1-year content plan, and then they help create the content. They build WordPress websites too!

Conclusion:

If you want to take your website or blog to the next level, consider working with a content planner. Content planners can help generate fresh ideas and plan out an effective strategy so that your site is always updated with new material. There are a few different places you can look for content planners, including freelancer sites and specialized agencies. Whichever route you choose, just be sure to vet candidates carefully before making a hire. Do you have any other tips for finding the perfect content planner? Let us know in the comments!
