I built a $450,000 business. At 55, I’m trying to make it smaller.
No employees. No meetings. No ads. I make money online with YouTube, Pinterest, affiliate marketing, ebooks and a paid newsletter, and I teach the exact systems I run — including the ones I killed.
Where are you right now?
There is no single right place to begin, and I would rather point you at the useful thing than sell you the expensive one. Pick the one that sounds like you.
Three buckets. That is the entire model.
Not twelve side hustles. Three buckets, one person, no employees. Tap any of them and I will show you how it actually earns.
Nice to meet you
I did not start here and it was not a straight line. Open any chapter you want. Skip the ones you do not.
Before all thisA decade selling real estate in Las Vegas
I spent over ten years as a top-producing agent. I was good at it, and by every outside measure I had no reason to leave.
I left anyway. I wanted something that was entirely mine, without a brokerage split or a schedule that belonged to somebody else. That is a harder thing to explain to people than failure is.
The exitI walked away from 100 employees
At the peak I had a team, a title, and a to-do list that never once got shorter. Everyone told me that was the goal. It did not feel like the goal.
I left the team behind and made more money alone than I had with all of them. That is the single most counterintuitive thing that has ever happened to me, and it is why I do not sell anybody on scaling headcount.
The rebuildSix figures from a computer, then from a phone
Blogging, SEO, affiliate links, digital products. I made expensive mistakes, chased platforms that went nowhere, and bought courses that did not deliver a single thing they promised.
Then I tore the engine down and rebuilt it to run from my phone. Not as a gimmick. Because a business you can run from your phone is a business that cannot hold you hostage to a desk.
2016The affiliate link that is still paying me
There is one piece of software I have recommended since 2016. I never ran an ad for it. I never did a launch. I just kept teaching it honestly, and it has quietly paid me for almost a decade.
Longevity beats virality. Every single time.
Now55, and deliberately making it smaller
After motherhood, divorce, loss, and starting over more than once, I know exactly what matters to me: peace, purpose, and staying in control of my own time.
So after years of adding more, I am doing the opposite. I am stripping the business down to what actually works, so it keeps earning without running me into the ground. I want systems that run while I ride my e-bike or sit in silence with my cats.
I used to measure success by how much I could add. Now I measure it by how much I can remove.

What I believe about this work
If a system drains me, I cut it. If it scales with less effort, I teach it.
I am not selling a dream. I am handing people the blueprint, and I open my books so they can see the real numbers.
Longevity beats virality. I would rather build something useful than chase a moment.

The letters cost nothing and they are where I put the thinking before it becomes anything else. If you want the whole system and me in the room every week, that is the Academy.
