Webex and Zoom both offer high-quality video conferencing, and both provide a variety of different features. First, let’s take a look at zoom’s offering:

Zoom allows you to share your screen or start with an existing PowerPoint presentation that is already open on the desktop You can also do ‘advanced chit chat’ which lets everyone in the meeting talk together.

There are various other advanced options but these are only available if you have an enterprise plan for zoom Webex has similar offerings when it comes to Video calling features It provides 1080p HD quality, so it looks crisp even up close Both programs give you unlimited meetings

This means there are no restrictions on how long your users can engage with you It also means that you can have multi-day conferences or more casual meetings with up to 100 people per conference

Webex vs Zoom Video Quality

Both programs give 1080p HD quality. However, Zoom does not offer a customizable screen-sharing experience while Webex gives users the option of sharing their entire desktop or just one application at a time.

Webex also lets your attendees switch cameras on and off during video calls. This is something they cannot do using zoom’s service. Computer Sharing With WebEx, participants are able to access all applications running on the host computer including Outlook for email messages, notes in OneNote, etc., an extremely useful feature especially when you want to demonstrate how some software works online!

Zoom offers basic screen sharing capabilities but lacks in the number of features Webex offers.

Our verdict: if you are looking for high-quality video calls with advanced options that give attendees control over switching cameras and sharing screens, go with Zoom – it’s a solid choice at a competitive price point. If you need screen-sharing capabilities and more customization when it comes to displaying multiple applications during live meetings, we recommend choosing WebEx as your provider.

Participants & Attendees

When it comes to the number of participants, Zoom is the winner! It can host up to 10,000 attendees in a meeting. Webex’s limit, on the other hand, is 3000 per meeting.

Next, let’s check out how both programs compare when it comes down to attendees: WebEx has one-click dialing so users can invite others within their organization who are already using WebEx online services.

Another cool feature of Webex is that it supports meeting PINs for sharing your online meetings on social media or via email. Zoom requires the user to put in more effort when inviting attendees; they will need an access code that can be sent out by either phone, text message, QR codes, etc.

When you like to provide a guest link for people outside of your organization (for example if you want them to join after receiving an invitation from their co-worker), zoom allows up to 100 participants per conference call while Webex only offers 25 users per chat/video call With existing accounts, both programs allow an unlimited number of invited guests

WebEx vs Zoom Ease Of Use & Usability

Both programs are and intuitive enough so that new users can quickly get the hang of them. Webex has a more straightforward design while zoom offers some advanced configuration options.

Zoom also comes with an option called “zoom rooms” which is basically like your own personal virtual office – you decide whether to share files and calendars or not, if yes then what kind of documents and when (during meetings only or after hours too), etc. You can choose different layouts for screen sharing: full-screen mode, app mode, presentation mode, presenter view/audience view modes, rounded corners (!), resize browser window during video calls…etc.

There are so many customization options available that users will definitely feel in control over their experience! With Webex on the other hand everything happens under one roof – you have one address for scheduling, hosting, and joining meetings. This is probably the easiest program to use but also lacks some of Zoom’s more advanced features

Our verdict: If your organization’s workflow involves multiple teams or departments that are all located at different locations around the world, there might be a need for having custom virtual meeting rooms. Zoom has this feature whereas Webex does not.

Features

Both programs offer a similar range of tools when it comes down to video conferencing options (screen sharing/recorded session access) , document sharing capabilities, etc., both allow users to record their conversations which can come in handy if someone misses an important detail during live chat sessions Recording client-side screen recording is not available in WebEx.

In terms of file access, zoom lets you browse files from your computer as well as other devices that are shared with the meeting – this is good if someone wants to share crucial data or spreadsheet during live chat sessions.

Zoom also offers better storage management options- users have more control over who can upload and download specific documents, folder sharing, etc., whereas Webex has very limited document uploading capabilities!

When it comes down to hosting/joining meetings both programs offer browser-based apps so there should be no compatibility issues for either team members or guests If you need screen-sharing capabilities and more customization when it comes down to displaying multiple applications during live meetings, we recommend choosing WebEx as your provider

If you want a more straightforward approach when it comes down to video conferencing, document sharing, and user management options – zoom is the way to go

Invitations

Both programs offer customizable invitations that can be sent to participants (people you want to join chat sessions) – both options allow users to include web links, phone numbers, etc. The main difference is in the way these links are displayed- while zoom requires users to download a file and open it with their native software, Webex’s system opens up, right inside your browser!

User Experience

One of the most important aspects to consider when choosing a web conferencing service is user experience. When it comes down to performance, both programs offer excellent streaming capabilities- video quality was always on point whenever we tried connecting with users who were located in different parts of the world

Another aspect that has a direct impact on how enjoyable your meeting will turn out are tools for collaboration – whether you have people working from home or they simply need to share their screen during live chat sessions, being able to work collaboratively using simple (and reliable) tools makes all the difference! Zoom excels at this department by offering multiple ways of sharing content: there’s no limit as far as the number and types of files you want to upload during live chats.

WebEx offers a limited type of file-sharing- users can only upload PDFs and PowerPoint presentations. There’s no direct way to share other media or documents, which might be an inconvenience if your team uses different formats for work-related files.

Conclusion: Both programs offer excellent features but Webex takes it one step further by offering an unlimited number of meeting rooms whereas zoom charges additional fees depending on the package you choose. In terms of collaboration options, both services are pretty similar so we would recommend giving Webex a try since they have been in this business longer than Zoom!

Conference Rooms

Both programs offer an unlimited number of meeting rooms! If you need to host multiple sessions for your team, zoom charges additional fees depending on the package you choose whereas Webex allows users to use all features without any time limits.

Video Chat

Another difference between these two services is in their video calling capabilities- while zoom excels by offering screen sharing options (users can share PowerPoint presentations and other media files during live chats), Webex offers a more straightforward approach when it comes down to displaying multiple applications during live meetings.

Calling Features

While zoom offers free video calls to other users, Webex charges additional fees depending on the package you choose. The main difference between these two services is in their calling capabilities- while Webex allows users to make and receive phone calls via a simple interface (even includes call recording feature!), Zoom gives its users access to complicated (and less user-friendly) dialer that requires entering different codes for making connections.

Conclusion: Both programs offer excellent features but Webex takes it one step further by offering an unlimited number of meeting rooms whereas zoom charges additional fees depending on the package you choose.

Waiting Rooms

Another difference between these two services is in their waiting rooms- while zoom allows users to book an unlimited number of meetings, Webex charges additional fees depending on the package you choose.

Conclusion: Both programs offer excellent features but Webex takes it one step further by offering an unlimited number of meeting rooms whereas Zoom charges additional fees depending on the package you choose.

Chat window size and layout options

Both programs offer different chat window design layouts so users can customize how they feel more comfortable during live chats. Apart from that, zoom offers several ways for sharing content (users can upload files via browser or desktop app) while Webex only lets them share PDFs and PowerPoint presentations which might be inconvenient if your team needs other types of documents.
