Hello, everyone. This is Kevin with Ballen Brands. In today’s video, I’m going to show you how to connect your WordPress contact forms with IDX Broker.
This allows you to capture lead information directly into IDX Broker.
In order to achieve this, your website must be using the IDX IMPress plugin, as well as a contact form plugin.
For today’s demonstration, we’re going to use Ninja Forms, but you can also do this with Contact Form 7 or Gravity Forms.
Let’s get started.
Add a Form
From the WordPress dashboard, go to Ninja Forms, add new, and choose blank forms.
Add Form Fields.
First, we’ll add our form fields. In the section titled User Information Fields, choose first name, last name, and email. In the section titled Common Fields, choose paragraph text and submit.
After you’ve added your form fields, click the done button.
Now we’re going to edit the settings of our fields.
In order to capture lead information into IDX Broker, we have to make sure that the first name, last name, and email fields are all required.
Click the gear icon for each of those fields and toggle the required field option so it’s activated.
Next, we’ll change the label of our paragraph text field and submit button.
Click the gear icon for each of these fields and enter a label. Click the done button when you’re finished. Next we’ll edit the emails and actions, so click that link in the upper left corner. As you can see, our form already has three actions in place.
The success message will be shown to visitors after they submit the form. If you’d like to customize this message, click the gear icon. The admin email setting will send an email notification to the email address listed in your WordPress general settings, or you can enter a custom email address by clicking the gear icon.
Add IDX Lead Push
The store submission setting will save a copy of all form submissions so they can be accessed later through your WordPress admin. Now we’ll link this form to IDX Broker. While still on the emails and actions tab, click the plus sign in the lower right corner and choose IDX Lead Push.
This setting will automatically add the name and email address from all form submissions into your IDX Broker leads. Now click the done button.
Publish and Save
Now that the form is set up, click the publish button, enter a title for your contact form, and click publish again. That’s all there is to it.
Now you can add this contact form to any page or post and start collecting additional leads. One potential area to place this form is into the widget area called After Showcase Content.
This will add the form to the bottom of all your Showcase pages. If you’ve found this video helpful, please click the like button down below.
