Definition: Evergreen content is created content that is pretty much always relevant. Editors use the word evergreen to explain a particular kind of story, one that never becomes stale and always holds the interest of the visitor.
Essentially, evergreen pages/posts/stories are always fresh which mean they are “forever green”. Take a standard gardening article for example that talks about best times of the year to plant a particular kind of seed. Not likely this content will ever change. Times of years to plant, are not going to change. So this article’s content will be relevant for an ongoing basis.
Whereas if we were to write about the current Football season, that story will be timely and interest will expire at the end of the season.
