Capturing Leads Using Lead Pages

This is one that we’re still testing and measuring. So I can tell you from my education company it’s working very well.  Lead pages are those little pop-up boxes, calls-to-action, or single landing pages that I send people to. An example of this would be as follows:

“Download your free SEO book. Download your free keyword research book.”

For real estate it would be:

“Download your free sellers guide on how to get the most amount of money for your home.” For a sale by owner guide or a first-time home buyer’s guide.

You could hire writers to write those guides for you if you don’t want to do it. You can make it look like a book and it can be five pages or five blog posts linked together. You have to be creative with that stuff. We’re still testing and measuring this tool for real estate for what works and what doesn’t work.

You have lots of different templates here that you can chose from and create your own. There are not as many that are real estate specific so you have to be creative. The lead box is capturing a lot for me. This is my best one for real estate so far. It pops up after they look at a couple of pages and it says:

“See a list of homes listed in the past 24 hours.” 

They type in their email and say:

“Yes, send me the list.”

Well then there’s an autoresponder that goes to them that immediately that says:

“Thank you so much for subscribing or for requesting your list. Here is a list,”

Then it’s just a link that sends them to a page on my website with homes that are listed in the last 24 hours. There’s nothing we have to do, which is beautiful, but it still captures the lead and gets them registered and looking at homes without having to do much work after the fact.

Here’s a seller example:

“Thinking of selling? Enter your address and we’ll send you market data.”

This one is not doing as well. I’ve gotten a few, but it’s not working quite as well. I might have to play with the picture or the words a little bit. Maybe put a picture of a girl up there or something that captures their attention: an attractive female realtor or something like that. It has A/B testing and it also integrates with WordPress.
